Cutest bunny

Just wanted to share the cutest Little bunny. Notice she is asleep? That is because she would cry every time we put this on. Fooled her! This is a large spool that was lying around and I got this bright idea to do something with it. This is what it looks like now. This is when it is wound on the spool.
This is open.

This is a close up of the clothes hanging out on the line for everyone to see. The catch phrase is....She dared to air her dirty laundry. I hand beaded the slip for some added fun. That is tough to do on paper. Just a fun project I did. Sometimes I like to just try something for the fun of it and see what happens! This is made out of a paper grocery bag. I just ripped to size, painted, and added some hand sewing and stamping. Fun!

This is a journal cover I did the other night. I was inking around with Tim Holtz distress inks and this is what I came up with. Very quick and easy. I stamped the main image(Hampton Art Stamps). After that I put a mask of the stamped image over the image I just stamped. Inked with shabby shutters, broken china, little brick red and vintage photo(Tim Holtz distress inks). Stamped the key(Stampland), stamped "in dreams we catch glimses of life larger than our own" (Tim Holtz), then sprayed some glimmer mist(Tattered Angels)denim blue. Removed the mask and that's it, easy, peasy. It took more time to clean up then to do the cover. Good thing I was playing before and after this.

Have to share something my sister would not share on my comments, however she did e-mail me just to say...............EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! your dirty and grungy.
And to this I say................... YES I AM.
Have a great evening, off to create something a little grungy.

Sharing again

As I promised, I am back to share some ATC's that I have made in the last couple months. I was asked to join a club and here are my 1st 2 creations. Fairy Lucky was of course for March. The theme a fairy or a leprechaun, so I found this picture in one of my Dover Books. I then used some paint for background. Stamped with Tim Holtz new Visual Artistry stamps from Michael's. Then I sprayed with a little glimmer mist. Machine stitched a rainbow. Put the little guy down, there ya have it. Oh, and a bit of spatter on the card also.
This is love is in the air. That was the theme for February. So a hot air balloon heart is what came to my mind. So this one started with Ellie poo paper. Yep paper made out of elephant poop. I stamped the poo with a music background using Tim Holtz distress ink. Inked the edges, roughed up edges. Using heavy mulberry paper I wet it, and ripped my heart out. (oh that sounds so sad) The basket is just a punched circle, folded at the top to make basket. Add a few lines and you have a basket. I did add some metal wings to help the balloon take flight. Typed out the "love is in the air" glued and stapled it on did some stitching on the basket and I was done. Lot of work but I like the way it turned out.

Last, here is the card I promised. I am not a big card maker. But when I need cards I know who and where to go. Tami comes up with all different types of cards and has ideas galore. So the other night I decided to go hang out with her. This is one of the cards we made. I love it. Basic Grey paper that is awesome. Tami does such a nice job at cards. She loves details. We had a lot of fun, we made 4 cards and she gave us some extra goodies. We worked at a store names Smudges, and Leslie from the store also gave us a card kit to work on at home. How nice was that. So thanks Tami for the great tips and tricks and treats.

Hum...... what will Saturday bring? I think I will share the front of a journal that I did the other night. So stay tuned. I told you once I started you would not be able to get rid of me!

I want to share something a friend of mine made for me. Lynn is very talented. She creates things that us normal peeps just don't even think of. Should we play I spy? I spy something really cute! Yes, I know, the 2 kids in the frame are cute. But that's not it.....Keep guessing.......

Well if you guessed this cute little cup, you are right. Is this not the cutest? I fell in love with it right away. Such a cute decoration for spring time. She used a planting cup from the hardware store. You know the ones, 12 for like $2.99. Then she used a favorite product of mine. Did you guess. Well if you did not, it is distress crackle paint. I love this stuff and use it all the time. Then she wrapped this vintage lace and added vintage buttons and TA! DA! I fell in love. It is just so darn cute. Thanks Lynn for sharing with me

On to the next thing. I do have a short attention span. LOOK WHAT I GOT TODAY!!!!!

A package of fun!

AND THIS!!!!!!!

I can not wait to play with this. So have you guessed I love Tim Holtz? Yep, that's me, a Tim junkie. Love his stuff. It helps me create beautiful grungy stuff.

Check back tomorrow for some of those inky creations. And some cards that I made with Tami.

See you later, I'm off to play with some grunge.

I can do this now!

So that book I bought to help me with my blog. I guess I am not dummy enough, because I still need my Sassy, Smarty Pants, Younger, Little Sister to come help me. As pictured below with her better looking, warm, fun, witty sister. Since she has a blog and also sells on etsy I asked (begged) her to come help me. Thank God I have my grand daughter living here. It was part of the bribe. She loves holding babies. Check out her blog. Caterpillar Creations. Just click on it to the right.

Speaking of babies. Here is a picture of my baby. Her name is Tina and she found a very comfy bed, right in the baby car seat. How cute is that!

And here is what is suppose to be in that car seat. What a beauty. Her name is Farris, Farris of them all.
