Just another day

Well I have been very busy, the past few days. I have been working on a few things. I have done a cute little pail, very easy. Picked up the pail at Target (2 for $1) then just put paper around it and added blackboard covered with blackboard sticker from Cosmo Cricket. Added a clip and wrapped a wire around a star from the blackboard, tied some ribbon and that is it. Fast and fun.

Also from Cosmo Cricket paper line Haunted I have done a fun little book. Just for fun I have just added some quotes and sayings all having to do with Halloween. I really had fun doing this book. I love the style of Tim Holtz and I feel this book has a little of that style. I did use his distress inks and grungeboard, also distress crackle paint and tonic distresser for edges. Just a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy.

I have also been working on some Christmas items for a monthly book club I am involved in. I am having fun doing this monthly. It makes me go outside of my comfort zone.

Here goes nothing!

This is my very first post and I'm not sure how this is gonna go, so please go easy on me. I wanted to start this blog so that I could share some of my Art? Or some of it I could just call stuff. I will tell you that I am a stay at home wife with kids that are out of the house. So what this means is that I can sit play and have fun all day. (As long as the laundry is done, house is cleaned, dogs are fed, birds are fed, fish are fed, and I have supplies, or its a trip to my favorite LSS.)


I will try to post things I am working on and things I have done. I am just learning this blog thing and will do the best I can. I am sure I will get better as time goes on. So I am going to sign off here and try to put a few pictures up for you.
