Party Favors!

Are you having a 4th of July party? 

Do you want some really cute party favors?

Well you have come to the right place!

These little jars are a quick and easy favor to give to your guests.

What you will need:

Small glass jars with lids

Makin's Clay® Red,White and Blue

Makin's® cutters Water Drop

Misc. small star cutter

Roller or a clay machine I used my Makin's Professional® Ultimate Clay Machine®

Red paint

Roll out Blue clay and cut your shapes using each of the 3 sizes. As soon as they are cut you apply them to the jar, they will stay without any adhesive.
Repeat this step for all three colors.

 Roll out your Red clay and cut stars, apply right away.

 Jars are done. Paint lids with red paint.

 Fill your jars with Red, White and Blue M & M's and or Kisses! Place painted lid on, tie with ribbon or raffia and place them on your table scape to add a fun and festive look!

Flower Party!

Who says we have to just use paper for these flower dies?

I am Not following rules today!

I am using the NEW Flower Pansy die by Eileen Hull!

I am going to die cut the flowers out by using Makin's Clay®!

First I had to mix the white and the red together to make pink. I rolled it out till it was flat and thin.

Let dry over night.

I have dried sheets of the Makin's Clay that I put over the die and ran it through my Big Kick.

Cuts like butter!!!!

 Here they are all cut out, perfect cuts!

I put this flower together and popped it on top of a gift and look how beautiful it looks!

 Beautiful!

Makin's Clay® Flowers

Hi, today I was playing with my Makin's Clay®!

I want to share with you what I did! This was fun, I had no plans! I just wanted to make some free hand flowers, no cutters or molds.

Let's get to it........

I mixed some White and Pink together

 Once blended together, I rolled it out to a large circle and let dry overnight!

Now just grab some scissors and cut three circles. They do not need to be perfect circles as you can see!

I took my Prisma colored pencils and started to color the circles.

Done coloring.

Add a brad to the smallest flower and then glue them together! I love these!!!!

What do you think? Great embellishments!!!!

I took it another step further!

I cut out the petals and colored it and shaded it more with colored pencils! OMG! LOVE!

A new way to make flower embellishments! I really like these!
